In the ordinary course of work, all our pins come in small foil packaging, which secure them while being transported; if you are looking for a solution which will make your pins customised and unique, we’ll be pleased to supply them, fastened in dedicated cards, designed so that they match the pins.

An order price depends on many factors: number of pieces, kind of design, degree of complexity and finishing. A price estimation is always prepared on case-by-case basis due to differences between particular orders. How much is a design service?
Pins are always designed free-of-charge for all our customers. All it takes is to accept a price estimation, share some ideas and our professional graphic department will develop a design or adjust your idea to technical requirements.
Can a customer place their own logo or pattern on a pin?
Of course. Our casting techniques make it possible to present various items, e.g. logos, precisely.
Does a customer need to provide own design?
No. Our graphic department will prepare a free-of-charge design for on the basis of received information. All it takes is to send a description, and we will reply sending you a ready visualisation.
How long is the waiting time (for design and work completion)?
A design can be prepared even on the day of receiving description or relevant information in a different form. In the case of more complex orders, including e.g. reliefs, this may require 2-3 days. After accepting the design and price estimation, order processing time is about 8 days, depending on the number of ordered pieces and complexity of an order.
How large can a pin be?
It is up to a required logotype or graphics to be placed on it. Most frequent size range produced by us: 20 – 30 mm (width / diameter), but larger sizes are possible as well.
It is possible to place additional information on the pin rear?
Yes. It does not have to be plain. It is possible to place there an extra graphic or inscription matching the whole item.
How are pins fixed?
A standard solution is a butterfly clasp (colour: silver or golden). Rubber and tube clasps as well as magnets and screws are also possible if specifically ordered. Our sales representatives will advise you on the best choice.
Is it possible to send you a photo e.g. of a face or a building; can you make a medal using them?
Of course, we make medals with reliefs as well. Our graphic department can prepare visualisations on the basis of received information.
What’s the minimum order for metal pins?
Due to logistic considerations: 30 pcs., but smaller orders are also possible – yet, an offer will be calculated as if the ordered number were 30 pcs.

What makes metal badge pins the choice of customers is not only their low price, but also the fact that they can discreetly change almost any outfit. At MCC Medale we produce custom-made metal badge pins for companies as well as for institutions which want to ensure the proper exposure of their brand. One of the most common questions that arises during the cooperation is how the pins are fastened to a piece of clothing.
One of the most popular types of metal badge pins are those that are fastened with a butterfly clutch. Pins are clipped to the surface of a garment and then they are secured with a butterfly clutch placed on the inner side, so the pin will not fall out. The advantage of this solution is, above all, the fact that once a pin is clipped on, it stays in place all the time. It is also very easy to clip it on and out at will. The downside is that needle pins can leave small dentures in some kinds of fabrics. One of the limitations is also due to the length of the needle pin, which will work well with fabrics that are not very thick.
Screw back badge pins are an alternative solution for people looking for custom-made badge pins that are to be fastened to thicker materials such as natural leather, leatherettes or multilayer fabrics. This type of fastening ensures the user that the thickness of the fabric is not a problem. Screw back badge pins are fixed in the pre-punched hole and tightened with a nut to the inner side of a fabric. Screw back badges are extremely popular, especially among motorcycle fan clubs, since they can be attached not only to leather belts, vests and jackets, but also, for example, to motorcycle components. A disadvantage of screw back badge pins is the necessity of punching a small hole for fastening, which is why we especially recommend this type of pins in cases where the pins are placed permanently.
Rubber fasteners are deprived of mechanical locking elements. It is simply a silicone cap with a hole, into which one attaches the needle of the pin. The advantage is the strength and grip. The needle can be firmly placed into the rubber hole – making the pins stick firmly.
The only downside could be durability — repeated removal and insertion of the pin may result in the hole becoming worn and loose.
A more prestigious version of traditional butterfly fasteners. They cost more, but offer a better “grip” on the needles – thus minimizing the chance of falling off the pin. They are attached in a similar way to butterfly clasps – just point the hole at the needle and press the whole thing down.
Removal is done by lifting the lower part. Another advantage is the appearance itself – they look more attractive than their economical counterparts.
Safety pin fastening is a less popular but still used type of fastener. The safety pin itself is attached to our castings with metal two metal elements that are reamed to create a very strong type of fastening.
The needle in the safety pin is thin enough to make the smallest possible hole in the garment – this is the least invasive type of fastener.
